About 100 people gathered near the London Eye to join the ‘Save Sudan’ march on June 16th 2009. Several Sudanese were among those who walked across Westminster Bridge to the Houses of Parliament.
The ‘Day of Prayer’ for Sudan followed a few days later. One supporter told us, “Our ’sending’ church prayed enthusiastically…lots of positive comment…it re-inforced people’s support…the church continues to fund one pastor…and we hope our ‘plant’ church will support more of the pastor training in Rumbeck.”
