Flame International was invited to run a pastors conference in the Nuba Mountain region of Sudan, close to the North/South border. At the invitation of the Bishop, Flame taught over 70 Episcopal pastors about healing, forgiveness and reconciliation. It was a powerful time of healing for those present. At the end of each session there was a time of ministry where the pastors could receive Jesus’ healing into their lives. All those present had suffered due to the extreme violence that has taken place in the region over the years. The pastors will now be better able to minister Jesus’ hope and healing to their flocks, after receiving so much at the conference.
After the conference, Flame was invited to speak to the military stationed in the area. Upon arrival there were no soldiers in sight, but after waiting for a few hours, a cloud of dust could be seen in the distance. 700 SPLA soldiers were marching towards the team to hear the Gospel- some for the first time!
