Right now, as you read this letter, we are working in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the first time running a 10-day pilot project ahead of launching our most challenging programme to date.

The DRC is one of the most troubled regions of Africa and named as the “Rape Capital of the World” by the UN’s special representative for sexual violence in conflict. The region we are visiting lies on the border with Rwanda and has suffered enormous amounts of violence.
 
So here’s the challenge - we have been invited by the Archbishop of the DRC to deliver a 5-year programme, throughout the country, that establishes diocesan centres to provide specific ministry into the emotional and spiritual suffering of their society.

It’s an enormous task and we can’t do it without your help - we need you to pray, to give and to get involved as we take this step.
